How to solve problem of injection part of injection molding machine?

1. Can not shoot

Approach:
1) Nozzle is blocked by foreign matter. Check whether nozzle is blocked, clean or replace nozzle.
2) Glue nozzle is broken. Disassemble flange to check whether glue nozzle is broken, and replace glue nozzle.
3) Injection direction valve is stuck. Check whether directional valve has 24V voltage and coil resistance is 15-20 ohms. If normal, valve is blocked. Clean valve or replace directional valve.
4) Rubber injection piston rod is broken. Loosen rubber piston rod tightening nut, check whether piston rod is broken, and replace piston rod.
5) Temperature of barrel is too low. Check whether actual temperature reaches melting point temperature of material, and reset barrel temperature.
6) Oil seal of rubber injection piston is damaged. Check whether piston oil seal is broken and replace oil seal.

2. Starting sound of rubber injection is loud

Approach:
1) Injection speed is too fast. Observe start speed change of injection speed and adjust injection flow rate.
2) There is air in oil circuit. Observe whether there is vibration in each movement. 

3. Sound is loud when glue is stopped and melted

Approach:
1) Movement conversion speed is too fast when shooting glue. Check whether injection glue has increased holding pressure, increased holding pressure, adjusted number of injection levels, and added melt delay.

4. Injection volume is unstable

Approach:
1) Oil seal of oil cylinder is worn. Observe pressure retention of pressure gauge and replace oil seal.
2) Rubber nozzle and rubber ring are worn out. Use 2 shots of glue to detect, replace three-piece glue nozzle.
3) Barrel is worn. It is detected with 2 injection nozzles, material is dismantled to check wear and tear, and melt glue tube is replaced.

5. Semi-automatic action without glue injection.

Approach:
1) Advancement of shooting platform is not terminated. Check whether travel switch before injection station or mold is normal, check wiring and travel switch.
2) Disconnection. Check wiring and rewire.
3) Return to zero when mold clamping. When machine hinge is straight, position is 0, readjust zero position of electronic ruler.

6. When working in semi/automatic mode, barrel temperature gradually exceeds set value.

Approach:
1) Melting speed is too fast. Use a tachometer to test whether screw speed is too fast, and reduce melting speed.
2) Excessive back pressure. Observe product, back pressure gauge value, and reduce back pressure as much as possible.
3) Friction between screw and barrel. Remove screw and barrel, check wear and tear, and replace barrel or screw.
4) Improper temperature setting. Check whether actual temperature is too low and reset temperature.
5) Shear heat of plastic is too large. Check temperature rise in the front and middle sections, reduce speed of melt, and back pressure. 

7. Screw sounds when melting glue

Approach:
1) Improper installation of drive shaft. Separate screw rotation to check if there is any noise, if so, remove flat bearing and reassemble it.
2) Plane bearing is broken. Separate screw and check rotating part for noise, then replace flat bearing.
3) Screw is bent. Remove screw for inspection and replace screw.
4) Screw has iron filings. Disassemble screw for inspection and clean screw.
5) Check coaxiality of adjustment screw with a dial indicator. Beating around 0.05mm is normal.

8. Can't melt glue

Approach:
1) Burning bearings or bursting of drive shafts. Separate screw, melt glue, observe sound, replace bearing.
2) Screw has iron filings. Separate screw and barrel, check screw for iron filings, and remove screw for cleaning.
3) Glue valve is blocked. Use hexagon key to top spool to see if it moves, and clean solenoid valve.
4) Glue motor is damaged. Separate melter motor. When melter does not turn, replace or repair melter motor.
5) Burn out heating ring. Check whether it is normal with a multimeter and replace heating coil.
6) Plug is loose. Check whether melted oil plug is in poor contact, connect plug tightly, and check whether there is a 24 power supply.

9. Back pressure cannot be adjusted when melting glue

Approach:
Back pressure valve is broken. Increase back pressure when cutting material, check whether screw retreats, and clean back pressure valve.

10. Product has black spots

Approach:
1) Screw has carbon deposits. Check cleaning screw and barrel.
2) Carbon deposits in barrel and dirty auxiliary equipment. Check feeder for dust, polish barrel and clean auxiliary machine.
3) Corrosion of glue nozzle components. Check glue nozzle and replace glue nozzle assembly.
4) Flange and nozzle have carbon deposits. Clean up and replace.
5) Raw materials are unclean. Check raw materials and replace raw materials.
6) Temperature is too high and back pressure of melt is too large. Check temperature of each section and reduce back pressure.

11. Poor screw color mixing

Approach:
1) Material problems. Check toner quality and replace material.
2) Temperature is too low. Check actual temperature and required temperature of material, and increase temperature.
3) Back pressure is too low, check back pressure and increase back pressure.
4) Short mixing time. Lengthen mixing time or replace it with a mixing head.
5) Speed is too low. Check screw speed and increase screw speed.

12. No glue pulling action

Approach:
1) Large back pressure. Check nozzle spraying speed when manually melting glue, reduce back pressure.
2) Disconnection. Pump valve is disconnected.
3) Spool of directional valve is not flexible. Use an Allen wrench to press valve core to check whether it is free to move, and clean valve core.

13. When melting glue, motor swings its tail

Approach:
1) Bearing is broken. Observe whether there is any abnormal sound when melting glue, replace bearing.
2) Improper adjustment of oblique ball bearings. Observe whether drive shaft swings and readjust gap.
3) Deformation of screw. Separate screw to observe rotation of drive shaft and replace screw.
4) Copper sleeve of rear plate of shooting table is worn and 2 guide rods are deformed or fixing screws are loose. Observe whether copper powder is ground out of second plate copper sleeve, and replace copper sleeve.

14. Shoot glue twice

1) Nozzle aperture is too small, and resistance is too large when shooting glue.
2) Nozzle heating ring is broken, check heating ring or replace it.
3) Check whether pressure and flow output is changed.

15. Reasons for screw breakage

1) Shooting movement is not synchronized, adjust shooting movement synchronization ±0.05.
2) Injection cylinder is not synchronized, adjust injection cylinder to synchronize ±0.05.
3) Performance of raw material and screw of injection molding machine are not matched.
4) Temperature does not reach melting point of material used.
5) Turn screw until temperature has just reached.
6) If heating tube is burned out, it will not be heated. Check for anti-cold function and replace heating tube.

16. Can not adjust mold

Approach:
1) Mechanical level and parallelism are out of tolerance. Check with a spirit level square to adjust parallelism and level.
2) Gap between pressure plate and die-adjusting nut is too small. Measure with a feeler gauge, adjust gap between pressure plate and nut, adjust gap between die nut and pressure plate (gap ≤ 0.05 mm).
3) Burn nut to check whether nut can be turned to generate heat and iron powder comes out. Replace nut.
4) Adjust upper and lower support plates. Remove lock nut of expense board to check and adjust adjusting nut.
5) I/O board is broken. Check whether there is a signal at output point on computer page and repair electronic board.
6) Mold adjusting valve core is stuck. Remove valve to check and clean valve.
7) Mold adjusting motor is broken. Check oil motor. Replace or repair oil motor.
