Vertical injection molding machine operation

Preparation before starting

Check whether each lubricating part is sufficiently lubricated.
Check oil pump for abnormal noise.
Install fastening mold carefully, pay attention to ensure safety when mold is up and down
Adjust pressure of each section
Set temperature of each segment

Manual operation and adjustment

Adjust position of each switch by manual operation, and ensure safety performance of mold.
Set "Manual" button of electric control panel to ON, when machine is operated manually, action buttons on electric control panel can only act when button is pressed (ON), and each action disappears when hand is released.
Adjusting mold: First, adjust stroke block of high-voltage proximity switch for closing mold to the lowest point, then install mold in the center between upper and lower molds, press "adjust mold" (extract) button on electric control operation panel. At this time, upper mold plate starts to close mold at low pressure and slow speed. After mold is closed and tightly closed, adjust block of close mold close high pressure switch to high pressure position. At this time, when manual "close mold" button is pressed, high pressure meter is turned off and high pressure is activated.
Closing mold: In semi-automatic mode, press and hold two "Auto Start" buttons on operating table with both hands. At this time, machine closes mold, and mold closes quickly at the beginning. Slowly close mold until mold is closed. High-voltage mold clamping is produced when block of mold-closing high-voltage proximity switch is touched.
Seating: It is used when mold is adjusted to align with mold, that is, it is used to control advance of nozzle cylinder table.
Seat retreat: It is used when mold is adjusted to align with mold, that is, it is used to control retreat of nozzle and cylinder seat.
Injection: According to product material, shape, size, adjust injection pressure, keep pressure and injection time and position, press "Injection" button to make injection. (Note: Injection molding can be done only when temperature reaches set value)
Screw feeding: After pressing "feeding" button, screw rotates, rubber material is stirred, mixed to compress screw and thus rise (speed of rise is determined by adjustment of back pressure regulating valve). When ascending action of screw touches stopper of feeding proximity switch, feeding action stops, and size of feeding stroke depends on amount of glue required by product.
Releasing and retreating: 1) Press "Releasing and Retracting" button when using manual operation, screw moves up, ejection and retreat action can be performed. 2) When using semi-start, loosening action is mainly to pull screw up a distance after automatic feeding is completed (this distance is determined by loosening time). Purpose of this action is to prevent rubber from being compressed during feeding. Expansion caused by heat shrinkage of feeding material overflows at the mouth of barrel (that is, funnel), blocking sprue of mold, and it is impossible to inject rubber material into feeding port of mold again.

Ejection: Press "Top" button, and product will be ejected immediately. In semi-automatic mode, extension time before and after ejection can be adjusted to determine ejection height.
Ejector and retreat: Press "Ejector Down" button, thimble will automatically return to original position, time of ejection and retreat can be adjusted to determine time of ejector's retreat and stop.
Number of ejector pins: Set number of ejector pins in semi-automatic mode to determine number of ejector pins.
Shutdown: Turn off switch on control panel, turn off main power, and clean up sundries on machine.

Horizontal injection molding machine operation

Power-on check

Before turning on power, first check power cord, confirm whether hydraulic oil is sufficient, check whether proximity switch of safety door is out of order, and whether safety door switch is smooth.

To install mold, it must be manually operated

Fit mold to fixed circle of fixed plate to close safety door, turn mold switch to mold loading adjustment, and close mold.
Adjust mold so that center of nozzle is up and down, left and right are aligned. Then mount horse and fix mold on fixed plate.
Adjust stroke and speed of thimble. When stroke of thimble exceeds stroke, mold may be damaged. Therefore, at the beginning, it must be set shorter.
Adjust die closing safety device.

Forming operation Manual operation

Switch operation selector switch to "manual" position and press pump start button.
Safety door on left side of anti-operation must also be closed.
When mold switch is switched to "close mold", mold closing action starts and high pressure is completed.
Injection device is switched to "forward", and nozzle contact is completed.
When switch of injection device is switched to "Injection", injection operation is performed, and pressure is converted from injection (primary) pressure to secondary pressure. Note: Start screw drive motor 15 minutes after temperature of heating cylinder reaches set temperature to avoid damage to screw.
Measure holding time.
Turn screw toggle switch to "rotate" position to meter.
Switch injection device switch and move injection device back to proper position.
After measuring cooling time, switch mold selector switch to "Mold Open".
Press eject switch to measure ejection of finished product.

Forming operation Automatic operation

Start with manual operation to stabilize molding conditions, and then enter molding operation with automatic operation. Before entering automatic operation, set each timer first, and when molding with automatic operation, switch operation selection switch to "semi-automatic"
After confirming that surrounding area is safe, close security door.
When mold is closed, it will be converted from low pressure mold closing to high pressure mold closing on the way.
After confirming that party closing pressure rises, injection device moves forward.
After nozzle contact is completed, injection starts, and when injection time timer counts, injection and pressure retention are performed.
When injection time timer reaches set time, cooling and injection measurement will begin. As screw rotates, it retreats.
When shot material stops contacting proximity switch, rear extension device retreats.
When cooling time timer reaches time, pressure in mold closing cylinder will drop, then mold opening action will be performed.
After close proximity switch is in contact with mold closing stop, mold opening action will stop.
Then ejection action is performed, at this time, finished product is ejected by ejector pin and falls onto finished product drop plate.
When using finished product drop board, drop board can detect finished product falling and enter beginning of next cycle.
In operation of machine, if you want to stop in an emergency, immediately press "emergency stop button" next to rear side of operation panel or reverse operation panel.

Stop machine

When resin used for forming is easily thermally decomposed, first stop supply of materials and inject all resin in injection cylinder to prevent resin from remaining in injection cylinder and causing thermal decomposition. At this time, in next mold operation, resin hot cylinder temperature must be careful, because sometimes MELTON resin will scatter.
At the end of work and when work is suspended, in order to ensure safety and protect electrical devices, please turn off power supply and clean machine.
